Business Development Associate

CCS is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic sales professional to join CCS’ sales team as a Business Development Associate (BDA) focused on growing CCS’s account base.  The BDA will be required to identify and establish business relationships with existing and new customers and to expand CCS’ presence.  As a business development role, the compensation and focus will be on identifying and working on new customer opportunities.  The BDA will also have the opportunity to work with some of CCS’ existing customers to ensure existing relationships are maintained and to expand CCS’ business within those accounts.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working in diverse customer environments with a multitude of technologies.  The role reports to the President, with a demonstrated ability to succeed in an autonomous environment is key to this role.  The BDA position is based in CCS’ Bermuda office but travel to the United States and the English-speaking Caribbean may be required.

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business plan and attack strategy for expanding CCS’ market share in Bermuda and the English-speaking Caribbean.
  • Focus on developing new customer relationships.
  • Consistently achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing customers.
  • Work with CCS technical resources and suppliers to produce accurate estimates, project scopes and proposals.
  • Present CCS technology and professional services solutions to clients in a formal environment, as well as provide professional written proposals to clients.
  • Develop and document and maintain customer profiles, contacts and forecasts of sales opportunities within an assigned customer base.
  • Obtain and maintain sales certifications in CCS’ key technologies.

The BDA will need:

  • A minimum of 3 Years of Sales Experience
  • Technical or sales experience in IT field
  • Proven Track Record of Meeting or Exceeding Sales and Revenue Targets
  • Strong Communication and Presentation Skills
  • Ability to do Job Estimations, Write Business Proposals, Facilitate Presentations and Adjust Presentation Delivery to Suit Different Audiences
  • Post-Secondary Business Training or Equivalent Experience

Server and Storage Virtualisation - Senior Consultant

CCS is looking for an enthusiastic IT professional to join CCS’s Server Storage & Virtualization Division. The successful candidate will primarily be focused on the design, implementation and ongoing support services for the solutions within the CCS’s Server Storage & Virtualization portfolios. However, the successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting the sales team with solution designs, proposal content, project scopes, project plans, and overall presales assistance. Finally, the successful candidate will assist with mentoring, professional development, and training of CCS’s less experienced consultants and technicians.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working in diverse customer environments with a multitude of technologies related to desktop, server, storage, enterprise software, cloud and virtualisation solutions. The role reports to VP, Technical Operations but with a demonstrated ability to succeed in an autonomous environment is key to this role.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Presales Support – The successful candidate will be responsible for creating project scopes and product configurations for Server Storage & Virtualization opportunities. The successful candidate will also be required to work with the sales team to produce customer proposals and present solutions to the customer.

Consulting Services – The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering consulting services to CCS customers.  The successful candidate will be expected to have a solid understanding of all the solutions delivered by their division.

Support and Implementation Services – The successful candidate will be responsible for implementation services and on- going support of Server Storage & Virtualization infrastructure solutions. The successful candidate may be required to act as a project lead which will mean that they will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered within the estimated cost and timeframes.

Documentation and Reporting – The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a detailed weekly, monthly and annual report for the customers they support. For implementation services, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering detailed documentation for the portions of the implementation they have completed.

Customer Satisfaction – The successful candidate will be directly responsible for the ongoing support of CCS’s Server Storage & Virtualization customers. Maintaining high levels of customer service and client satisfaction is a key responsibility of the Consultant role.

Maintain Industry Certifications – The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that they maintain the minimum certifications for technologies that are key to CCS’s Server Storage & Virtualization portfolio.

 

Required Experience and Certifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of consulting in a similar role
  • Valid storage certificates from any major SAN vendors
  • Valid virtualization certificates from VMware (VCP v5/6/6.5)
  • Valid server and core infrastructure certifications from Microsoft (MCITP, MCSE)
  • Strong Microsoft Core Infrastructure (AD, DNS, DHCP) design, implementation and operational skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and O365 suite.
  • Strong VMware datacentre virtualization design, implementation and operational skills
  • Strong sever and storage design, implementation and operational skills
  • Working Knowledge of standard project lifecycle phases
  • Professionally presented with strong customer-facing skills and the ability to build and maintain working relationships with customers at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with the following would be considered advantageous:
    • Amazon AWS
    • Nutanix
    • Microsoft Exchange and/or SQL server
    • Fibre channel switching for SAN
    • VMWare Horizon View and/or VMware vSAN

Server Storage and Virtualisation - Consultant

CCS is looking for an enthusiastic IT professional to join CCS’ Server Storage and Virtualisation Division. The successful candidate will be primarily focused on the design, implementation, and on-going support services for the solutions within the CCS’ Server Storage and Virtualisation portfolio. However, the successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting the sales team with solution designs, proposal content, project scopes, project plans and overall presales assistance. Finally, the successful candidate will assist with mentoring, professional development, and training of CCS’ junior technicians.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working in diverse customer environments with a multitude of technologies related to desktop, server, storage, enterprise software and virtualisation solutions. The role reports to the VP of Professional Services but a demonstrated ability to succeed in an autonomous environment is important to this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

Consulting Services – The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering consulting services to CCS customers. Therefore, the successful candidate will be expected to have a good understanding of the solutions delivered by their division.

Service Desk Support

  • Monitor the internal ticketing systems at customers’ sites. Completing basic support requests where appropriated
  • Responsible for Incident & Change management, Escalations, and customer communications for any high priority issues
  • Produce/perform weekly tasks such as health checks & backup management for Managed Service customers.
  • Executing and escalating telephony, infrastructure, and networking support
  • Create user accounts, manage permissions and passwords
  • Monitor responses to requests raised with the Support Helpdesk and to provide remote hands support for queries in a timely manner
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current operating systems and standard software packages
  • Engage in training opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge in key areas such as desktop support, networking, and operating systems
  • Complete any other tasks as requested by the Server and Storage Consultant and Management

Support and Implementation Services
The successful candidate will be responsible for ongoing support of desktop, server, storage, enterprise software and virtualisation solutions.

  • Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and O365 suite
  • Maintain strong VMware server virtualization design, implementation and operational skills
  • Maintain strong server and storage design, implementation and operational skills
  • Maintain a working knowledge of standard project lifecycle phases

Documentation
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a library of documentation for the customers they support which may include reports on a scheduled basis.

Customer Satisfaction
Maintaining high levels of customer service and client satisfaction is a key responsibility of the Consultant role.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Certifications:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong Microsoft Core Infrastructure (AD, DNS, DHCP) design, implementation, and operational skills
  • Strong VMware server virtualization design, implementation, and operational skills
