Please Join CCS for Lunch for a presentation from Dheeraj Pandey and Rajiv Mirani the CEO and VP of Engineering for Nutanix. Nutanix is a pioneer in the rapidly expanding Software Defined Storage market and is the fasted growing infrastructure startup of the past decade.
Dheeraj and Rajiv will discuss how the Software Defined Storage market is evolving and how it can be used to address some of the common challenges that Bermuda’s IT professionals are faced with. Specifically the high cost of energy, the high cost of space, the cost of skilled labour and the cost of communications.
Dheeraj Pandey- Founder and CEO
Dheeraj is a co-founder and CEO of Nutanix. He brings over 13 years of experience working at high growth enterprise software companies. Prior to founding Nutanix, Dheeraj was the VP of Engineering at Aster Data (now Teradata), where he helped build the product and its engineering team ground up. At Oracle, he managed the storage engine group for Oracle Database/Exadata, and co-authored numerous patents in the area of distributed databases.
Dheeraj is a Ph.D. dropout from University of Texas (Austin), where he was a Graduate Fellow of CS. He has a BS in CS from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT, Kanpur), where he was adjudged the “Best All-Rounder Student Among All Graduating Students in All Disciplines.”The CCNAX curriculum is a derivative workshop
Rajiv Mirani – Vice President of Engineering
Rajiv has held various engineering leadership roles in the areas of networking and application security. Most recently, he was vice president of engineering at Citrix where he led research and development on the NetScaler product line.
Prior to joining Citrix, Rajiv was a co-founder and vice president of engineering at Teros, a pioneering company in the area of application firewalls. Teros was acquired by Citrix in 2005.
Rajiv holds a Ph.D. from Yale University and a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
