Paulo joined CCS in 2014. Paulo is an experienced consultant, with wide-ranging expertise in the Collaboration Technologies in diverse environments for industries that include financial services, electric utility, retail, hotels, and corporate enterprises. For the past ten years, Paulo has been delivering IT solutions as Systems Engineer for a systems integrator in Portugal.
Paulo has been the technical lead on several projects, most of them on the Cisco Unified Communications area. As the Technical Lead for these projects Paulo provided the High Level and Low Level Design, and lead the implementation team for most of the solutions he designed. Paulo has also provided a lot of pre and post-sales support sales on networking and communications solutions and has acted as a project management on several complex deployments.
Paulo has a Degree in Electrical Engineering in the field of Electronics and Computer Systems from Instituto Superior Tecnico in Portugal and is a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Voice, Huawei Certified Datacom Professional (HCDP) Enterprise IP and a Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS) Firewall/VPN (FWV).
Ayeisha joined CCS fresh from graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology- Cyber Security from the New England Institute of Technology.
Since joining the Server, Storage & Virtualization team at CCS, Ayeisha has already made an impact on the customers she serves through her professional, hardworking attitude, effectiveness in researching and solving problems, and also her ability to plan, organize and execute her duties with the utmost integrity. She is proficient in Microsoft Desktop Support (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10); Apple tablets and mobile devices; Microsoft Office Suite (2003-2016); Dell, HP, Lenovo hardware; printer and peripheral device setup and configuration, TCP/IP networking and Active directory account administration.
In addition, Ayeisha possesses a background of IT Security and is adept at using Forensic Examination Tools/Programs (EnCase, FTK), Penetration Test Reconnaissance Tools (Wireshark, Maltego, Metagoofil, Nmap), and has been proactive in continually developing her networking skills.
Ayeisha is A+, Network + and Security+ certified and is currently pursuing her Microsoft Certified System Administrator certification.
Phil joined the CCS consulting team in 2005. Prior to joining CCS, Phil spent several years working with another local ICT provider where he delivered some of the first Cisco telephony solutions in Bermuda. Phillip is seasoned networking and voice engineer who currently holds a multitude of Cisco certifications from that span routing, switching, and voice technologies.
Phillip has worked extensively with complex voice and data projects ranging in size from 10 to 4000 employees within Canada, United States, Bermuda, Grand Cayman, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Europe, Hong Kong and Singapore. Phillip also has extensive experience in project management with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Phil Benner is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) and Phil has competed his Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Voice (CCIE-V) written exam and is working towards passing the Cisco CCIE-V lab exam.
Hugh Brown is a senior telecommunications consultant with CCS. Before joining CCS in January 2007 he held the position of a senior telecommunications engineer, responsible for the Avaya platform and the supervision of the telecoms team with one of the largest network companies in the Caribbean region.
Hugh Brown brings a wealth of telecommunications experience to CCS. His experience with different technologies gives him the ability to perform his daily duties, which involve the design, planning, implementation and integration of the Avaya platform.
Hugh Brown is an Avaya Certified Specialist in VOIP and Unified Messaging. He’s also an Avaya Certified Associate in implementation, sales and design.
Claudell joined CCS in 2015 as a Networking Consultant in the server storage and virtualisation division. Before joining CCS Claudell spent 4 years with the Bermuda Government as an Application Systems Programmer, before moving on to Citigroup Hedge Fund Services as an Infrastructure Technical Analyst.
After Citigroup Claudell joined another local integrator as a Network Consultant on a 3 year secondment within the reinsurance sector where he provided reinsurance companies with server, backup and vendor model support. At CCS Claudell delivers similar services to CCS’ reinsurance customers. Claudell has a wide breadth of skills within the Microsoft platforms. He has extensive experience working with VMware, physical server administration/support, application support as well as backup system support.
In addition to his technical experience also Claudell is a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and a Cisco Certified Entry Networking (CCENT).
Alex started working with network infrastructure equipment over 20 years ago whilst working for the largest Cisco distributor in Europe (Azlan), which is now part of the Techdata group of companies. During this period Alex was a network infrastructure engineer for a wide variety of routing and switching projects for a number of large international companies.
Alex has been employed by CCS since 1997, and has been involved in the majority of the CCS network infrastructure deployments. Alex brings to the table a high level of pre and post sales technical expertise, as well project management and team leadership skills.
Alex’s main focus is based around the Cisco product set. These products include the Cisco Wireless, Routing & Switching, Data Center, and Security product set. Alex currently holds a wide variety of Cisco qualifications in these areas, listed below. Alex has currently passed his Cisco Wireless CCIE written exam, and is working towards passing the Cisco CCIE wireless lab exam.
Martin joined CCS’ networking team in spring of 2006. Before joining CCS, Martin worked for a large international IT support provider and IT systems distributor. His focus at CCS is design, implementation and support of Cisco IP PBX’s, Cisco LAN’s and Cisco Wireless Networks.
Martin has several years of experience under his belt and has been an integral part of several large, multifaceted, local and global solution implementations. Martin’s international experience includes implementing Cisco projects in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland, Holland, as well as here in Bermuda.
Martin holds several Cisco designations, including Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP), Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Associate – Wireless (CCNA-WL), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and ), Cisco Certified Network Professional – Voice (CCNP-V).
Alistair joined CCS as a Consultant on the Server, Storage and Virtualization team, after being on island since March 2011. He brings 16 years of industry experience, having worked across many diverse industry sectors, primarily focused on Microsoft client/server technologies.
Alistair’s domain of expertise includes Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Active Directory, Windows server, Citrix, VDI, Remote Desktop, Application Support, vpns, networking, virtualization, testing and user training. Additionally, Alistair holds multiple MCSE Server infrastructure certifications, as well as certifications from Cisco, VMWare (VCP-DCV 5.5), ITIL and Nutanix. He holds a Cisco CCNA certification and is pursuing CCNP status.
As a keen engineer and consultant and a perpetual life learner of technology, Alistair enjoys assessing and learning every customer environment and making recommendations based on industry and vendor best practices.
Hugo joined CCS in May 2016 as a Consultant on the Service Provider team. Before joining CCS, Hugo was a Systems Administrator for a Dutch Insurance company operating in Portugal.
Hugo is an experienced consultant with a wide range of experience in Novell, Microsoft and Linux environments. He has proven expertise in providing mission critical services, mainly for service providers, including geo clustering and disaster recovery (Veritas), high availability solutions (Veritas, Oracle RAC, Microsoft, RedHat), and virtualization (VMware ESX, Hyper-V, Oracle VM).
Hugo has also worked extensively with different storage solutions from IBM, NetApp, HP EVA, EMC (VMAX and VNX), and Hitachi; and developed heterogeneous solutions which were sold to several ISP’s in Africa and Asia. Hugo formerly was a Cloud Services team member at Portugal Telecom for 6 years, providing public and hybrid cloud solutions for banks, public institutions, and large enterprises.
Hugo has a Degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidade Independente in Portugal and holds several certifications including Certified Novell Administrator (CNA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Nutanix Platform Professional (NPP).
David joined CCS in 2013 as a Senior Networking Consultant and is now the technical lead for CCS’ service provider infrastructure division. Before joining CCS David spent 8 years with IBM as a networking engineer then moved to a global systems integrator to be lead consultant on a 3 year project to design and implementation of a large and complex country wide IP/MPLS Service Provider Network with Cisco ASR9000 and CRS-1 equipment. After IP/MPLS project was successfully completed, David remained in Mozambique for an additional year providing network consulting services for several companies.
David has a wide breadth of skills within the Cisco Networking and Security portfolios as well as Checkpoint Security systems. He has extensive experience working with both portfolios in enterprise, datacenter (including relocation and disaster recovery services) and service provider environments. David in addition to his technical experience and certifications Davis is an accomplished Cisco Certified Systems Instructor (CCSI).
David holds several Cisco Certifications, including dual Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Routing & Switching and Service Provider. He also is certified has a Checkpoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE).
Dante has been a member of the CCS Networking and Telephony team since May 2014. Prior to joining, he worked in the Academic Technology Services department at Bermuda College as a helpdesk technician while studying part-time. Dante then joined CCS’ cabling team where he learned the basic architecture and transport of data and telecoms within networks, mainly being involved with large projects such as the Tuckers Point Residence Club and the new Magistrates Court. While this helped prepare him for the next chapter in his career, Dante decided to further his education abroad. Shortly before returning back to CCS, he had obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Information Technology from the University of Kent.
Dante’s strong technical abilities allow him to grasp new concepts and technologies quickly, thus he has been able to independently support client sites early upon joining the team. His strong interest in technology allows him to focus on acquiring a wide-ranging skillset. Although he is currently working toward Avaya certifications, Dante plans to pursue Cisco CCNA, network security, VMware and Linux qualifications.
Jakup joined CCS’, server storage & virtualization team in 2013. Jakub bring over a decade of ITC consulting experience to CCS. Prior to joining CCS Jakub held a senior consulting role for an ITC services provider in Toronto, Canada.
Jakub is an experienced consultant, with a wide-ranging skill set. Jakub core competencies are on the Microsoft solutions such as Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, Lync and ISA/TMG product platform. However, in addition to Microsoft Jakub has strong skill in networking and security which adds value to the solution he designs and the customers he supports. Jakub’s passion for technology and troubleshooting makes him a good technology evangelist and a great team player.
Jakub has a Network Systems Technology diploma from Herzing College. Jakub is also a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), a VMware Certified Professional for Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) and a Nutanix Platform Professional (NPP).
William joined the CCS team in 2014 as a Senior Architect and Lead for the Application Development Division. He has over a decade of experience as a Consultant in a broad set of fields and environments, and has managed diverse teams of engineers in the development of enterprise solutions.
William is a Microsft Certified Professional in SharePoint and Project Server, and has been instrumental in the development of several large scale Corporate initiatives for clients throughout the United States. In addition, William is a formidable Project Management Consultant, and has helped shape process and technology decisions for several large corporations.
William has a Masters of Science in Bioinformatics/Computer Science from the University of Alabama-Birmingham, and is ABD on a Ph.D. He is an accomplished presenter and public speaker, having given talks at many regional and national conferences.
Terence is an experienced consultant, with wide-ranging expertise in the effective application of technology in diverse environments for industries that include financial services, electric utility, airlines, retail, health, education, transportation, municipalities, legal, hospitality, and corporate enterprises. During the last five years, Terence has been consulting and providing implementation for datacenter, unified communications and core infrastructure.
In addition to his strong analytical, problem solving skills and enthusiasm for learning new technologies, Terence has a profound understanding of client business needs and how technology must be adapted to accomplish important business goals. His ability to accurately assess issues and foresee potential problems ensures projects are thoroughly scoped and technically sound, leading to smoother, high reliability implementations.
Terence has a Bachelor of Arts in Information Technology & Health Informatics from York University, and is an acknowledged lifelong learner who has been dedicating much of his evening hours to blog the challenges he has faced for various projects to share with other professionals in the community. Pedro joined CCS in the beginning of 2015 as a Consultant on the Service Provider team. Before joining CCS, Pedro was a Network Systems Engineer focused on the Service Provider market for a systems integration company in Portugal.
Pedro started his career with Cisco Portugal as part of the Systems Engineering team, where he was involved in the pre-sales process, supporting the sale of several networking projects involving both Service Provider and Enterprise solutions. He then worked as a Network Engineer designing, implementing and maintaining a large and complex country wide Service Provider Next Generation Network with Cisco CRS, ASR9000 and ASR1000 equipment. Once that was successfully completed, Pedro transitioned to a new role with one of his clients where he was part of the Engineering Team, designing and testing new technologies and products for drastically improving their network infrastructure, while also liaising with Cisco’s pre-sales and technical teams.
Pedro holds a degree in Telecommunications and Computer Engineering, as well as several Cisco Certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in Routing & Switching and Service Provider. He is currently pursuing the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Service Provider.
Ezra is a member of the CCS Technical Team as a Network Consultant. Prior to joining CCS in April of 2006, Ezra was a teacher and Information Technology Coordinator at a secondary school in Barbados, where he also managed the school’s network.
Ezra is an IT network generalist. His strengths include researching issues to find solutions to unique problems and implementing solutions by working logically to complete tasks and projects on time.
Ezra has a BSc (Hons.) joint majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science and a DipEd from the University of the West Idies. He also holds the following certifications: COMPTIA: A+, Network + and Security +; MICROSOFT: MCSE (Security and Messaging), CISCO: CCNA, CCDA ,and specializations as an Advanced Cisco Wireless Field Specialist and Data Center Application Services Support Specialist.
Luis joined CCS in 2016 as a Consultant in the Enterprise Networking division. Before joining CSS, Luis worked as a Network Engineer focused on the Service Provider and Data Center market for a global systems integrator in Portugal, where he frequently traveled to other countries such as Angola, Cape Verde and Mozambique.
Luis is an experienced Network Engineer who has experience designing, implementing and maintaining large and complex country-wide Next Generation Networks using Cisco equipment. Luis has been instrumental in designing and implementing MPLS networks for Providers in Angola and Cape Verde. Additionally, he has designed BGP solutions, and Data Center solutions. He was a primary contributor during the design, implementation, and training of an extremely large Data Center project in Mozambique that utilized Cisco Nexus (7K, 5K, 3K, 2K), Cisco Firewalls, and F5 load balancers.
Luis has a several Cisco Certifications including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in Routing & Switching, and Certified Cisco Systems Instructor (CCSI). He is currently pursuing the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
Mathew joined CCS in 2016 as a Senior Consultant with eleven year’s experience in the IT industry. His background covers work across engineering, in house and consultancy platforms. He is an accomplished and professional IT specialist with experience Internationally within South Africa, Botswana, England and now Bermuda.
He specialises in servers, storage and virtualisation within a client facing role. A very personable, calm, and collected member of our team, he works strongly under pressure, always remaining confident and level headed. Having both an engineering background and mindset, he enjoys complex technical problem solving while learning new technologies and keeping up to date with industry movements.
Mathew's qualifications started with a Network and System Administration Diploma. He has gone on to study MCITP, HP Integration, Commvault, Dell Servers, MCSA, Nutanix, VMWare, Prince2 and ITIL. His key skills also include: HyperV, Active Directory, Exchange, Symatec, Power Shell, UNIX, SCCM, Linix and River bed. Upcoming qualifications will comprise of VCP6, Cisco and Citrix.
Martin Joined CCS’ server storage & virtualization team in 2015. Martin brings over 17 years of ITC consulting experience to CCS. Prior to joining CCS, Martin had worked for some of the world’s largest IT outsourcing companies in a senior Consulting/Architecture role.
Martin has worked on a number of projects of varying size, designing and incorporating both vendors software in to complete end to end solutions including Microsoft Active Directory/TMG/MSCS and also on vSphere vCenter implementations. Martin has vast data center experience having worked with IBM/HP/Dell server technology throughout his career and excellent troubleshooting skills. He has grown in to the role having started work from a desktop support roll through 3rd line support to dedicated project architecture since leaving The University of Glamorgan in 1997.
Martin has a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science as well as being a VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA-Security) and holds number of Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) certificates including ISA server 2006/Active Directory 2008 and network infrastructure.
