Hugh Brown is a senior telecommunications consultant with CCS. Before joining CCS in January 2007 he held the position of a senior telecommunications engineer, responsible for the Avaya platform and the supervision of the telecoms team with one of the largest network companies in the Caribbean region.
Hugh Brown brings a wealth of telecommunications experience to CCS. His experience with different technologies gives him the ability to perform his daily duties, which involve the design, planning, implementation and integration of the Avaya platform.
Hugh Brown is an Avaya Certified Specialist in VOIP and Unified Messaging. He’s also an Avaya Certified Associate in implementation, sales and design.
Alex started working with network infrastructure equipment over 20 years ago whilst working for the largest Cisco distributor in Europe (Azlan), which is now part of the Techdata group of companies. During this period Alex was a network infrastructure engineer for a wide variety of routing and switching projects for a number of large international companies.
Alex has been employed by CCS since 1997, and has been involved in the majority of the CCS network infrastructure deployments. Alex brings to the table a high level of pre and post sales technical expertise, as well project management and team leadership skills.
Alex’s main focus is based around the Cisco product set. These products include the Cisco Wireless, Routing & Switching, Data Center, and Security product set. Alex currently holds a wide variety of Cisco qualifications in these areas, listed below. Alex has currently passed his Cisco Wireless CCIE written exam, and is working towards passing the Cisco CCIE wireless lab exam.
Martin joined CCS’ networking team in spring of 2006. Before joining CCS, Martin worked for a large international IT support provider and IT systems distributor. His focus at CCS is design, implementation and support of Cisco IP PBX’s, Cisco LAN’s and Cisco Wireless Networks.
Martin has several years of experience under his belt and has been an integral part of several large, multifaceted, local and global solution implementations. Martin’s international experience includes implementing Cisco projects in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland, Holland, as well as here in Bermuda.
Martin holds several Cisco designations, including Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP), Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Associate – Wireless (CCNA-WL), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and ), Cisco Certified Network Professional – Voice (CCNP-V).

Ivor’s career history spans over 23 years within the IT Industry assisting customers in designing, implementing Active Directory , Azure Active Directory solutions and Integrating on-premises Active Directory with Azure. Ivor’s technical skills are working in the areas of Microsoft Azure, AWS, Office 365, Networking, DNS, Skype for Business, Identity (AD Connect, ADFS, MFA, Conditional Access, Microsoft Server 2016, Microsoft Exchange Server, Powershell and Infrastructure as code solutions like Terraform and ARM templates.
Ivor’s professional certifications are in Azure/0365, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Productivity , Microsoft Systems Engineer Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation Certification and IBM Lotus Domino 4,5,6,7 and 8 System Administration.
Dante has been a member of the CCS Networking and Telephony team since May 2014. Prior to joining, he worked in the Academic Technology Services department at Bermuda College as a helpdesk technician while studying part-time. Dante then joined CCS’ cabling team where he learned the basic architecture and transport of data and telecoms within networks, mainly being involved with large projects such as the Tuckers Point Residence Club and the new Magistrates Court. While this helped prepare him for the next chapter in his career, Dante decided to further his education abroad. Shortly before returning back to CCS, he had obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Information Technology from the University of Kent.
Dante’s strong technical abilities allow him to grasp new concepts and technologies quickly, thus he has been able to independently support client sites early upon joining the team. His strong interest in technology allows him to focus on acquiring a wide-ranging skillset. Although he is currently working toward Avaya certifications, Dante plans to pursue Cisco CCNA, network security, VMware and Linux qualifications.
James joins CCS with over 20 years IT experience with wide-ranging expertise in Servers, Storage, virtualization and End user computing. He has a broad background, working in industries that include financial services, media, manufacturing, retail, education, information technology, corporate enterprise, and healthcare. He has spent his career personally developing, or leading teams in the design and implementation of IT services to meet business challenges. Along with problem solving complex stability and performance issues involving multi-disciplinary teams.
Jakup joined CCS’, server storage & virtualization team in 2013. Jakub bring over a decade of ITC consulting experience to CCS. Prior to joining CCS Jakub held a senior consulting role for an ITC services provider in Toronto, Canada.
Jakub is an experienced consultant, with a wide-ranging skill set. Jakub core competencies are on the Microsoft solutions such as Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, Lync and ISA/TMG product platform. However, in addition to Microsoft Jakub has strong skill in networking and security which adds value to the solution he designs and the customers he supports. Jakub’s passion for technology and troubleshooting makes him a good technology evangelist and a great team player.
Jakub has a Network Systems Technology diploma from Herzing College. Jakub is also a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), a VMware Certified Professional for Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) and a Nutanix Platform Professional (NPP).
Bringing over 20 years of development experience, and often driving the complete application life-cycle, Sandra specializes in Application Architecture, Systems Integration and Automation, applying risk frameworks to meet business requirements.
Sandra’s consulting responsibilities have allowed her to interact and report directly to Senior IT Management to provide operational excellence. Her areas of focus have been Information Security, Asset Management, and Data Management, delivering quality solutions to the business for both off-the-shelf and in-house developed applications.
Sandra is flexible in managing engagement projects and will allow for integration into in-house PMO tools as required. Charnae began her journey in the technology industry back in 2016 when she obtained her associates degree in Computer Information Systems at the Bermuda College. She then continued her studies at the University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham, England. Prior to joining CCS, Charnae experience numerous intership and summer programmes such as the Technology Leadership Forum, Logic Communications and the Ascendant Group. Whilst working at Ascendant she experience various technologies such as Microsoft Sharepoint, McAfee Endpoint Security, SCCM and KnowBe4 and gained skills such as customer service and team work. One of her achievements whilst there was jumpstarting their employee IT security training program.
In February 2020 Charnae joined CCS under the Server, storage and Virtualization teams as a Junior IT Technician. With the gained knowledge through her studies and hands on experience in corporate settings Charnae brings fresh ideas, diversity and a can do attitude. Charnae looks to gain the Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure and Security+ certifications in the future.

He recently joined CCS after working at the Bermuda Hospitals Board where he assisted their team in major projects as well as preparing IT infrastructure for the COVID-19 pandemic.
